The requirements for healthcare facilities are developing rapidly. Dynamic changes are resulting, for example, from the introduction of digital patient records or from innovations in the field of telemedicine. On the one hand, these enable new ways of interaction between medical staff and patients; on the other, health data can be transmitted and interpreted more quickly. Inpatient and outpatient treatment can thus be better linked - a development that we are actively shaping by creating sustainable concepts for medical care.
Digitalization offers andar game even more opportunities: The Internet of Things (IoT), for example, enables us a more resource-efficient maintenance of our machines. With the help of complex virtual models (Building Information Modeling - BIM), we can simulate and optimize the entire life cycle of new healthcare facilities (planning, design, construction, operation, and maintenance) as early as in the design phase and later during construction.
